CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Mercury is not compatible with CarLoader. If it reads the file as "(error) vp87mcp.ar", then let it finish loading, then right click "(error) vp87mcp.ar" and select "Change Name" and change it to "'87 Mercury Colony Park". Move the picture that's included in the zip to your CarLoader images folder. To view the picture, right click "'87 Mercury Colony Park" and select "View".

Recommended : 80-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels.

Notes : It's a full-sized Mercury wagon. It's the sister of the Ford Country Squire, which was more well-known. This MM re-creation has recessed headlights, 3D mirrors, 3D roof racks, hood ornament, 3D bumpers, and a raised portion of the hood. It also has some really cool wheels made by Speedy. The horn is from the '68 Mustang in-game and it works well. The selection screen sound is from "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge (disco music). If you have a problem with the sounds, turn off your speakers. The tuning is pretty good for a 2 ton car. The shocks are tuned to be slightly soft for the big car feeling. It powerslides really good. Just tap the handbrakes to get it sliding. If you start to oversteer, give lots of counter steer to correct it. It takes some getting used to the tuning. It can do 0-60 in about 11 seconds and a top speed of about 95 MPH. Each color has it's own license plate (courtesy of ACME License Plate Maker - http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/ and The License Plate Shack - http://www.plateshack.com/plateshack.html). The dash is a special HUD. I made this for several reasons. First, the real Mercury dash has this thing covering the needles and has square guages. And second, dashes are a pain in butt to make, so this saves me time making cars. If you complain to me about the dash, I'm going to tell you to make a dash.
