Whats this?
This is the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, the second best selling truck in America, and one of
the coolest in my opinion, this particular version is lifted and somewhat customized.

Whats new?
* A totally new model
* Hand draw (in photoshop) and real textures combined together.
* 3D Wheels
* 4 colors, these are custom colors, because the car is a custom.
* An MM First, new way to do head lights, if you have been playing MM for a while you might have noticed that when you damage at night the lights stay still while the car hops up and down around them, no more, using technology employed in making Night textures on tracks it is now possible to make night textures for cars, from just lights to the whole body being dark at night, also it is possible to make, snow, rain, and the such textures, which can lead to fog lights being on in the fog, and other crazy combinations, more on this discovery later ;)

Complaints:
All complaints about the car should be posted at the BOX Designs Messageboard, which can be reached through www.boxdesigns.cjb.net

Distribution:
Please give credit to (Barracuda), the car will be on the BOX site (www.boxdesigns.cjb.net) for a couple of days, feel free to post it on your site.

Installation:
Just unzip the file, and take the .ar file and put it into your MM folder, such as c:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftGames\MidtownMadness, just put it in the Midtown Madness folder, wherever u keep it. Once you install the track the car is already installed because they are included in the same .ar file.

Special Thanks:
* Paul_7, if not for him half of this stuff would never happen.
* MmMaster for his info on the silverado and some technical date.
* ironchair for providing information on how the lights light up
* Vette_Pro for describing how to do the selection screen icon for the car
* Everyone who contributed, and pointed out thangs ;)

Whats next?
* I am looking at remaking the 5th generation corvette, the original was really sucky, and this is a great car that needs to be recreated properly.

Notes/Problems/Possible Problems/Suggestions.
* No software rendering, it does work, but I took it out, because it just increases the size and hardly anyone uses it. If I get enough emails about this I can update the car with SR.
* The sounds are from the in game f-350, I am sure they are inaccurate, but thats all I could find. If someone has nice truck sounds, please send them to raykhene@peoplepc.com
* The truck does 0-60 in 8+ seconds, or thats what I measured with my click watch (stop watch broke) that might feel a bit quick for a full size truck, but I went by specs I found on the Silverado HD and it does 0-60 in 8+ and cause this truck is a custom for all you know it could have a corvette engine under the hood (:^P) and it had to be quick to climb those ORM hills.
* I made dirt textures as I call them, instead of damage, I felt they were more appropriate and more accurate than damage because when you get dirty (muddy) the body of the car does not bend, but stays the same shape just like it does in MM, I also added some scratches and damaged windows, go figure.
* The selection sound song is by Disturbed

Enjoy
