Whats this?
This is Off Road Madness an off road track created out of my imagination.

Whats new?
* A new track model based around Race City
* New Textures, also Hand Drawn in photo shop
* User made props, including the barrels that you see which are breakable.
* Night textures, the track looks like it should at night, night textures are possible and are
available on this track.
* CnR tuning, now you can play CnR on a new track and pick up 15 different golds
* Circuit Race, tuned around the dirt track, even though the opponents in singe player mode dont move this race can be lots of fun in multiplayer games, up to 6 racers.
* 6 new trees (Most of these trees would probably not survive in the same environment, but this is a game so they will have to do)

Complaints:
All complaints about the car should be posted at the BOX Designs Messageboard, which can be reached through www.boxdesigns.cjb.net

Distribution:
Please give credit to (Barracuda), the track will be on the BOX site (www.boxdesigns.cjb.net) for a couple of days, feel free to post it on your site.

Installation:
Just unzip the file, and take the .ar file and put it into your MM folder, such as c:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftGames\MidtownMadness, just put it in the Midtown Madness folder, wherever u keep it. Once you install the track the car is already installed because they are included in the same .ar file.

Special Thanks:
* Paul_7 he discovered this whole track making business, so if not for him, I wouldnt have anything to make or release, all credit should go to him.
* None1a for figuring out the bng file which controls the prop locations.
* DeusRex for making the program that easily lets you convert from bng format to text format with out it, it would be impossible to get the props into the game, this is a great program and soon hopefully everyone will benefit from it.
* ironchair for suggestions and his great multiplayer testing skills (and for beating me and Paul in mutliplayer circuit racing at the dirt track, grrr)
* Everyone who contributed ideas and the such.

Whats next?
* I would like to make a race track for the corvette if I do make either one.

Notes/Problems/Possible Problems/Suggestions.
* The track does not work in software mode, even when the truck had all the new textures set up for SR the track still crashed.
* Cloud Shadows crash your game, so uncheck that option, but if you must have cloud shadows on you have to turn far clip distance to about half, or so thats how it works on my PC, and about the same on Pauls and ironchairs PCs.
* Because race city was designed to be a very low polly track this track likes to crash, in single I can run far clip all the way up, with cloud shadows off of course, but in multiplayer I have to turn it down to about 1/10th, ironchair and Paul can run far clip a lot higher but that is because Paul has a cable connection and chair has a fast computer. I suggest you start with low far clip and no cloud shadows, and then increase far clip, it should work all the way up, but just in case you crash you will know what the problem is.
* Some of the bounding is a bit funky, like the trees, it is easy to get stuck in them if you hit them really hard, the best way to free yourself is to turn and gas turn left and right, if that doesnt work try backing up and going forward again.
* Sometimes in multiplayer games the gold likes to get stuck, I fixed most of the places this happens but if it does dont be surprised.
* In circuit races the opponents do not move, for some reason they dont want to follow my waypoints :? but it can still be a lot of fun in multiplayer games.
* There are cops, but they are just computer opponents so they are not very good at chasing because they slam into trees and into walls. I was also unable to change their starting positions, but they seem to have good ones anyhow.
* On the outside of the track the culls out there dont show the cars shadow for some reason, I found no way to fix it, but its not that big of a deal.
* The track looks best in the early morning
* The silverado that comes with the track is able to climb all the hills and stuff, but you have to be creative at times, dont just go straight up the hill, approach it at an angle and wiggle if you have to.
*Once again make sure vpsilverado.ar is installed, otherwise the track will NOT work.

Enjoy
