CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Family Truckster is not compatible with CarLoader. If it reads the file as "(error) vp83wqft.ar", then let it finish loading, then right click "(error) vp83wqft.ar" and select "Change Name" and change it to "Family Truckster". Move the picture that's included in the zip to your CarLoader images folder. To view the picture, right click "Family Truckster" and select "View".

Recommended : 80-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels.

Notes : From the movie "National Lampoon's Vacation", it's the Family Truckster! According to the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com): "The 'Family Truckster' is a modified Ford Crown Victoria wagon. It was based on what have been called two of the ugliest cars of all time, the Dodge Aspen and the Plymouth Volare." If you haven't seen the movie, go watch it on cable or rent it. It's one of the funniest movies ever! But be warned, it is rated R. So, if you're under 18 it's recommended you watch the cable version. It's usually shown on Comedy Central, TBS Superstation, and TNT. If you're parents let you watch rated R movies or if you're over 18, go rent the movie!

This MM re-creation has 3D mirrors, 3D roof racks, hood ornament, 3D bumpers, a raised portion of the hood, and 3D luggage (including Aunt Edna!). It also has the graffiti on the rear passenger side wood panel from St. Louis and the crooked license plate from the gas station incident (the gas tank is in the front). There's two versions included in the car's file. One is the car without the hubcaps and with the graffiti (St. Louis). This version has regular damage. The second is the car after Clark ran off the road in Arizona. The second version has two colors. One is with Aunt Edna, and one is without. The second version does not have reflections because it's already damaged. The second version also does not contain damage textures becuase it's already damaged. The selection screen sound for the first version is the theme song from the movie, "Holiday Road." The selection screen sound for the damaged car is a quote from the movie. The horn is from the '68 Mustang in-game and it works well. If you have a problem with the sounds, turn off your speakers. The tuning is pretty good for a 2 ton car. The shocks are tuned to be slightly soft for the big car feeling. It powerslides really good. Just tap the handbrakes to get it sliding. If you start to oversteer, give lots of counter steer to correct it. It takes some getting used to the tuning. It can do 0-60 in about 11 seconds and a top speed of about 90 MPH. The dash has a hood view as well as a special HUD.

As a special bonus, I've included a "Walley World" bumper sticker in this zip file! It's named "WallyWorld.jpg" if you haven't figured it out. Now go out there and take the Family Truckster out for a drive. "You think you hate it now, but wait 'til you drive it."

Known issues : The software render textures for the damaged version is screwed up. I don't know how to fix it. But the textures for the regular version works fine.
