Whats this?
This is a fictional Race Track. I created it based around the figure 8 layout but with a few more twists. Its not a real track, its out of my imagination so dont expect to see it anywhere else ;)

Whats new?
* A new track model based around Race City
* Many new textures (50 regular plus 17 night textures)
* New props, stationary and hitable props (48 original creations)
* Night textures (17)
* 11 different gold and delivery locations
* A circuit race around the 8 track, backwards and forwards, a race at the monster truck arena.
* Check point races at the drag strip for an official 1/4 mile race one for single player mode and one for multiplayer mode, also features a mini slalom race.
* Blitz race which takes you through the interior of the track.
* A total of 1,234 various props plus around 200 race specific ones, such as crowd and help ramps.
* A drag strip to help car makers tune cars more realistically, also a great way to push the car to the limit by yourself or against a buddy in multiplayer racing. Although the race doesnt look as it should in multiplayer mode because of lag, the result times are accurate and you race by time.
* A giant parking lot for various activities which were never possible in slippery large areas of Chicago.

Distribution:
Please give credit to (Barracuda), the track will be on the BOX site (www.boxdesigns.cjb.net) for a couple of days, feel free to post it on your site.

Installation:
Just unzip the file, take the bdrw.ar file and put it into your Midtown Madness folder, such as C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftGames\MidtownMadness, or wherever you keep it. Be sure to install The Loser (vpMTsilverado.ar) in the same folder otherwise the track will not work properly. Once in game get to the screen where you get to change the weather and such, click Race Locales and select BOX Designs Race Way, then go on as usual.

* None1a for figuring out the bng file which controls the prop locations.
* DeusRex for making the program that easily lets you convert from bng format to text format with out it, it would be impossible to get the props into the game.
* ironchair for his help in testing and a couple of props which saved me a lot of time at the end.
* wing_zero who pushed the monster truck idea and the monster truck arena idea as well ;)
* Everyone who waited, and asked about it, motivating me and reminding me that I wasnt wasting my time.

Whats next?
* I am planning on making a car chase movie track, a small European looking town with many crazy roads, jumps, shortcuts and a new type of multiplayer game mode called Getaway.

Notes/Problems/Possible Problems/Suggestions.
* No Software Rendering mode is available.
* Unlike ORM this track runs just fine with all the options turned up, no need to worry about the far clip distance setting and you can turn cloud shadows on :D
* Trees bound well now you wont get stuck in them.
* Gold wont get stuck as it did in ORM because I built higher than the ground level so that problem is no more.
* No cars race you in single player, most of these races are tuned for multiplayer.
* On the outer culls of the track the cars shadow doesnt show for some reason, I found no way to fix it, but its not that big of a deal.
* The track looks best in the early morning
* Be sure to have The Loser installed (vpMTsilverado.ar)
* The green/blue rooms you see are not unfinished rooms, they serve the same purpose that green/blue screens serve in movies, they make it really easy to take out the background and put whatever needed in there.
